I haven't had a lot of time to look at the blog due to a family disaster and probably will not manage to post as regularly over the next wee while but will see what I can do, Any way C-GGMI paid a visit this morning and as always the crew were delighted to show off their aircraft. It had nothing to do with me becoming a free bureau de change this morning!!! Here it is in all its glory
And of course the inside
The aircraft spends its time shuttling between Canada and Austria and this morning flew up from Biggin Hill to Kirkwall then on to Vienna after picking up the owner. Thanks again to the crew for their kindness. This week has been a very sad week as I mentioned earlier, we had a family disaster, when my parents home was destroyed by fire on tuesday night. Happily no-one was hurt. One of our regular visitors to Kirkwall Airport, James Spence, a young man who ferried marine crews back and forward between the airport and Scapa Flow, passed away at the age of 31. We are very sorry for his loss and send deepest condolences to his family at this sad time. Thanks for looking, till next time Leave a Comment { Last Page } { Page 43 of 99 } { Next Page } |
