Sorry for the lack of entries over the last fortnight, I have had some time off and not had any spare time to update the site. Now I am back to work, normal service will resume as soon as possible. I have no photos of my own to upload but thanks to Dick Jones who is a radar operator with the Scottish Fisheries Protection Agency, I have a pic of an unusual plane which passed through Kirkwall at the weekend. It is an Angel Model 44 and is specifically designed to land on rough ground. Apparently where the wing is attached to the fuselage is about 30cm deep. Anyway thanks to Dick for his assistance, here is the aircraft. Thanks for looking.
