Another day in paradise (aka Kirkwall Airport)

One of these enjoyable days with a bit of everything thrown in, only let down by the terrible weather.  First of all a pic from yesterday when a german Dornier 228 was in doing the mail run in this case D-IROL

This morning we had a visitor from Norway in this instance LN-BAA which came in from Haugesund, thanks to the Captain and Fisrt Officer for letting me take the pics.

This aircraft has a custom paint job after a team winning the Norwegian football league.  Perhaps someone from Norway can translate for me.  Here is a close up of the paintjob.

Then we had in a Dornier 328 in Cityjet colours but operated by Suckling Airways

Sadly I won't be ther for the last international flight of the day when PH-RSA flies in from Paris Le Bourget, piloted by our friend Christian, I hope the weather clears up for their visit.

Thats it for today, I am away to Stornoway fro the next two days so will catch up anything interesting at the end of the week.
